Kick Off – HCT DUO DEMO Hallsberg-Örebro

Information

Region Örebro County with partners has been granted support from the Swedish Energy Agency to investigate how longer vehicle combinations on the road affect the multimodal logistics chain based on parameters such as environment, economy and safety. Within the framework of this project, pilot tests with a 30-meter-long vehicle (duo-link crew) will be carried out between the Hallsberg terminal and logistics-intensive areas in Örebro to provide data for the research to be carried out. Pilot tests to investigate the safety of unprotected road users (cyclists) will also be carried out on the road between Örebro and Garphyttan.
