What are CLOSER and our partnership focusing on right now?

In what area can CLOSER help you and your organisation?

CLOSER is a neutral innovation platform working toward an equitable and sustainable transport system. Together with our partners, we focus on areas such as urban logistics, energy supply, long-distance transport, as well as construction, contracting, and infrastructure logistics.

How do we create logistics in the city on people's terms?

More and more people are moving to our cities, which places demands on an efficient and sustainable supply in the form of packages, food, building materials and efficient return and waste management. Together with our partners, CLOSER works to accelerate the development of, and the transition to, a sustainable and habitable city on people's terms.

This is how CLOSER supports the energy supply of the transport sector

CLOSER works together with our partners to speed up the development of and conversion to energy-efficient and fossil-free freight transport. We do this by running projects together with you in business, academia, city or region.

How can long-distance transport become more efficient?

It is important in this regard to utilise the benefits of each individual mode of transport, the correct mode of transport for the correct task. In order to be able to use the most sustainable mode of transport for a route, it is absolutely crucial that we optimise the transfer between different modes of transport - it should be cost-effective, accessible and punctual.
