Combine
The COMBINE project aimed to enhance the share of combined transport (CT) in the Baltic Sea Region to make transport more efficient and environmentally friendly.
The project has gained a lot of valuable results and insights, on this site you can take part in them via webinars, podcasts, an e-book and written articles.

The COMBINE project was led by Port of Hamburg Marketing and implemented together with 14 partners from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Sweden and was funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme.
On this page, you who work in transport ministries and administrations or work as a forwarder, transporter and industrial operator can take part in the project's results so that you can optimize the transport chain into an efficient one and thus save money and the environment's resources.

E-book on Combined Transport in the Baltic Sea Region
The COMBINE partnership developed this e-book to describe all combined transport related issues in the Baltic Sea Region, e.g., terminals with their service portfolio, operators, and other stakeholders. Most important rules and regulations as well as the most promising last mile solutions and handling technologies have been looked at in a BSR-centric manner.
The publication is the result of the work of many teams working within the framework of the COMBINE Interreg BSR project in the years 2019-2021. The ambition of the authors was to present as comprehensively as possible the issues of organization, operation, and development of combined transport with particular emphasis on the Baltic Sea Region.
