Urban Logistics

Some of the major projects within CLOSER bring together an increasing number of actors within specific areas. There has been an increasingly destinct need to pursue strategic collaboration in more specific areas where to some extent other people than in Urban Logistics' round-table can participate. These areas are illustrated below and continuous cross collaboration and exchange of experience takes place within the round-table.

The Urban Logistics group will work to meet current trends and challenges, by jointly and from a systems perspective: 

  • Develop and test new types of services & business models
  • Develop and test vehicle solutions
  • Identify challenges in existing regulations and work with standardization Integrate freight issues into urban planning
  • Create smart solutions that contribute to more efficient use of infrastructure

    DenCity develops innovative solutions for sustainable passenger and freight mobility in dense neighborhoods, with high standards of attractiveness, accessibility and sustainability. DenCity stands for radically new thinking and innovative processes for sustainable densification.

  • DenCity 2027 - Your mobility in the future
