Transporteffektivitetsdagen 2020 with focus on the future

- As usual a very informative and interesting conference. It also worked great to meet digital, says Agneta Wargsjö, Swedish Transport Administration, but also the Swedish Transport Administration's representative on CLOSER's board.

- Transporteffektivitetsdagen 2020 (TREFF) kick-started the autumn with a lot of active and interesting discussions about transport efficiency. The best thing about TREFF, I think, is that there is a great focus on what happens, what does not happen and how we should work in practice with the issues ahead. This means that you can take with you many lessons learned from the day that are actually practical and not just taken from theories. I think that TREFF succeeds in highlighting all modes of transport and the importance of us working with the development of all of these in the future, which also needs to be combined with innovative solutions that are not yet applied. We also gained an insight into these through both a look at the EU's investments in the Green Deal and DB Schenker's trend research, says Josephine Darlington, project manager, CLOSER.
