Monday, March 9, 2020

Claes Tullin has been working at Lindholmen Science Park since October as a senior advisor on energy issues. He will also work within CLOSER where he takes over responsibility for RESCOPE.

Claes comes most recently from RISE where he has worked with research and innovation issues for over two decades, most recently in the role of innovation manager for the community building division. Claes own research area is focused on bioenergy and he is also an adjunct professor of energy technology, Luleå Tekniska Universitet.

Within CLOSER, Claes is currently working on issues related to liquid biogas and hydrogen. He will also hold in the Swedish Transport Administration's doctoral network Rescope, which aims, among other things, to allow doctoral students and young researchers in the Swedish Transport Administration's areas of interest to network among themselves and with researchers of the research results.

- Creating good conditions for different actors in the innovation system is important in itself, but in order to meet today's challenges, not least in the climate area, effective collaboration across the entire innovation chain is required, from funding basic research to implementing new services, products and processes, says Claes.
