New project manager with focus on system perspective and business models

Wednesday, December 1, 2021

Since the beginning of November,  Magnus Lindgren has been the new project manager at CLOSER. Magnus has a great technical interest and will work with projects related to energy supply. His focus will be on how important system perspectives and business models are for the transition to a fossil-free transport system.

Magnus Lindgren

Magnus studied at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and focused on energy use and emissions concerning agricultural machinery. Today, Magnus works at the Swedish Transport Administration where his focus is on electric motors and electrification and has before that at the Swedish Transport Administration had time to work with everything from internal combustion engines to gas-related fuels. Now he shares his time between the Swedish Transport Administration and CLOSER, where his focus will be on how important the system perspective and business models are to achieve a fossil-free freight transport system.

"Cool technology is not enough, it must also work for all social actors who will use new solutions."

Being able to work more closely with and for the social actors who carry out the necessary adjustment we are facing is something Magnus looks forward to being able to do in his role at CLOSER. An equally important part is to have the opportunity to work together with all knowledgeable employees.
