"In 2024, a large-scale pilot was launched in central Enköping, involving over one hundred diverse vehicles testing speed regulation through digital solutions, including geofencing and Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA). Join us for a digital lunch seminar to explore the project's findings and insights!"
The HasT project—Speed-secured Traffic Zone in an Urban Environment—funded by the Norwegian Trafikverket’s Sign Fund, has brought together a variety of transport operators and public transit providers to collaborate with the Municipality of Enköping in testing digital technologies aimed at enhancing urban traffic safety and supporting professional drivers in goods and public transport.
Throughout the project, the Norwegian Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) has conducted thorough analyses, examining speed data collected from hose measurements and driving data from the participating vehicles. To better understand the acceptance of these technological solutions, surveys were conducted involving both drivers and the general public, supplemented by in-depth interviews with selected drivers.
We invite you to join our digital lunch seminar to learn more about the project’s outcomes, the experiences of the participating stakeholders, and the recommendations for others interested in adopting digital methods for speed assurance in urban settings.
During the final seminar, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
