Take part in lessons learned and solutions tested in the Stockholm-based project HITS 2.
Be inspired by examples from tests carried out in Stockholm and Gothenburg within the Smart Urban Traffic Zones project:
Large-scale test of geofencing in Enköping's city center where several different modes of transport are secured at speed. What did we learn from this?
CLOSER's focus area manager Jack Lu explores what the partnership wants to do and what we need to focus on in order for us to succeed in implementing good solutions in the city.
In this part, we present insights and results from the REEL project and collaborations within the HCT (High Capacity Transport) program, focusing on how collaborations between carriers and transport buyers, including the public sector, can accelerate the electrification of the vehicle fleet with electric trucks. By jointly developing innovative business plans, different actors can work towards common goals.
We also highlight the importance of efficient charging infrastructure, cooperation between hauliers and the use of HCT for electric trucks. Finally, we see how dangerous goods carriers continue to develop their solutions and introduce more electric trucks.
What purchase criteria are used when choosing a transport service from a transport provider and how can new legislation, new technology and improved operating economics contribute to new shipping solutions?
Preliminary insights and a look into the future from the Cargo Express project are presented by Tove Wahlén and Lars Green.
How can ports act to contribute to shipping's conversion to renewable fuels?
Results from the Blue Supply Chains project are presented here, where the focus has been on how the Port of Umeå can prepare its operations to be able to offer renewable fuels for shipping. The session is moderated by Camilla Sundqvist together with Elin Malmgren at IVL and Lina Samuelsson at INAB-Infrastruktur i Umeå.
Anna and Kristoffer make a summary of the events' insights.
An opportunity to make contacts and discuss ideas.
