Wednesday, May 24, 2017

In April of this year, Magnus Blinge began working as senior project manager at Lindholmen Science Park. Magnus was previously employed by Chalmers University of Technology, where he worked as Senior Lecturer at the Department of Technology Management and Economics.

In his role as senior project manager, Magnus Blinge will initially work with the issue of the future of energy supply for heavy transport as part of the national program CLOSER. During the autumn, he will be based in Stockholm and be tasked with deepening the collaboration with CLOSER’s partners in east and north Sweden and to develop and deepen Lindholmen Science Park’s other national partnerships.

“We are very pleased with the recruitment of Magnus,” says Niklas Wahlberg, CEO, Lindholmen Science Park. Magnus’ experience and expertise from research into green logistics and LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) studies in the transport sector and energy supply will strengthen Lindholmen Science Park as a company in our work and vision for tomorrow’s transport of people and goods.”

Magnus is looking forward to the new job:
“One exciting issue that I will address is how the future of energy supply will be for heavy transport. Is the best solution gas, electricity or liquid fuel? There is a major need to study this issue,” he says.
