The Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting 2016

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 95th Annual Meeting will be held January 10–14, 2016, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, in Washington, D.C. The information-packed program is expected to attract more than 12,000 transportation professionals from around the world.

Maria Lindholm is a member of the TRB standing committee on Urban Freight Transportation, and will present the DenCity project as well as taking part in panel discussions in the session. The presentation is titled ”City development of Gothenburg: How will freight be built into the City’s largest regeneration project?

The meeting program will cover all transportation modes, with more than 5,000 presentations in nearly 800 sessions and workshops, addressing topics of interest to policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. More than 35 sessions and workshops will focus on the spotlight theme for the 2016 meeting: Research Convergence for a Multimodal Future. And more than 75 will address one or more of three “hot topics:” Transformation Technologies, Resilience, and Transportation and Public Health.
